Nina Reineri, president of Ascertainment Marketing, Inc. has over 30 years of experience in media planning, buying, research and sales from both sides of the business. Her background gives her a competitive advantage in positioning and negotiating buys.
Nina began her career as a media planner for a large agency in Los Angeles, planning First Interstate Bank’s media in various western states incorporating broadcast, newspaper, magazines and outdoor. A move to Knoxville, TN took her to WATE-TV, where she spent 7 years heading up their television research department, creating media plans for advertising sales clients.
In 1996, while working in television sales in South Carolina, she founded Ascertainment Marketing. Two years later she returned to Knoxville, focusing solely on her clients and expanding her company. Her experience ranges from small retail clients using local print, broadcast tv and radio… large financial institutions utilizing regional television … to the University of Tennessee’s Graduate and Executive Education, which concentrates solely on national trade publications, online advertising, lead generation and search engine marketing. In addition to this division at UT, Nina currently handles the media buys for Blount Memorial Hospital and Sugarlands Distilling Co. Nina has also handled media buys for various political campaigns over the years.
Bottom line, her objective is to ensure that every marketing dollar spent goes directly to the growth of the client’s company.
